i was eyeing the black floral dress during my last visit to the store. then there's this lovely 40s (iirc) linen dress that's just so sweetheart the guru kept telling me i should get it. i didn't because it's just so sweetheart (not me) and it looked suspiciously tiny.
the blue dress looked so like the liz clairborne in my store, minus the peplum. peplum's been back for some time. i think i've never attempted to wear any. i did want to, until i saw the inspired ones sold in every topshop. i love the black one on GDO's blog. but that's just cos it looked so good on the model.
GDO featured every pair of the feiyue sneakers except the white and orange pair, which is really the more vintage-looking, other than the white and green pair. i also kinda prefer the eyelet pair in white on feiyue's site.
did you notice that we all seemed to want to be... birds? it reminded me of the LOTR quiz i took on FB recently. i didn't usually wanna participate in such quizzes but i was curious about the LOTR character that my colleague was. turned out i was also the same character (samwise gamgee). so i asked her how she answered some of the questions. and surprise surprise (or the opposite): we chose very different answers. it was hilarious. i asked her for the answers she gave for how she'd prefer to die and which superpower she'd like to be equipped with. i chose to die starving. she said that's the last thing she could do to herself, hahahaha. she loved food too much so she chose to die drowning which to her should be less painful. for superpower, i chose the ability to fly (see?) while she chose invisibility. i then offered that maybe the entire answer hinged on the last question: which animal did we see ourselves as? no prize for guessing which animal we chose. samwise gamgee's kind and loyal. yes, we chose the dog. i was considering the eagle (since i wished i could fly). maybe when i'm really bored to my hair roots i'd attempt the quiz again and see if choosing a different animal would change everything.
