see how i've ruined my bag, ha ha. 

the shorts were from a local blogshop, only cos they're on sale. the other items were expensive. no more of these, i just can't afford it.

the top's from ASOS, my very first order, ever, from that site. i liked the colour and shape so much that i got it in UK10. i think their items are expensive as well. i haven't seen my bill for the rate conversion. 98 quids for a pair of boots, two shirts and a pair of bottoms. but i'm pleased with most of them. i'm tempted to get more stuff...

but did you know that i'll be heading to korea next month? seoul exciting!!  

i wanna be next to you

snagging the chance to take my shorts out for some sunning. these were bought probably more than a year ago. my most expensive haul from a local blogshop's arrived. it's the shoes that caused a substantial part of the damage. turned out they're jellies. not as pointy as i'd like them to be. they seem to be tight during daytime (but they came with a pair of shoe liners). i chose the other black-and-gold pair over the new shoes.

i wish i could wear hi-cut shoes, or just those shoes that don't make you look like you have really short legs.

when i saw audrey's outfit, i was once again tempted to give shorts a shot. my shopping bag on asos is still void of a pair of shorts that i think might work for me. what scary's now is that asos is offering free shipping worldwide, i fear i want to get sucked into it. i've never shopped at asos for some reason... it could be the prices. and since i've always preferred direct shipping and now that it's free, should i not give in to my weakness? hah. the prices are still not too friendly for my wallet, honestly. and once again i was looking at boots. i think i finally found a pair of mannish chelsea boots. not the best choice but at least they're my size and not exceedingly expensive.   

 

  in other news, the men's polo shirts from american apparel ordered through reebonz have finally arrived. quite pleased for now. i think my menswear phase should soon end. after i try out their shorts, perhaps...

nit-picks

am super in love with these looks by zara. some remind me of marc jacobs - not as girlie but just right. have i told you how much i like skirts? and how i wish i could rock the shorts like the model. dare i dare to try thigh-high socks with shorts? i kinda regret not getting the crazy vibrant long socks by vivienne westwood while i was in tokyo. they're expensive and they might end up with the same fate as the rest of those that came home with me. 

sometime last week i tried to wear socks with shoes. i couldn't get past myself. i should've worn the socks anyway, cos the shoes hurt in some places. i wore pants, though. so the socks won't have been too obvious.

by the time i gather enuf guts to wear them outside of the house, i'd be qualified anyway. grannies are socks.
