as soon as i blogged the last post, my mind went into hyperactivity. everytime i thought i had it all figured out, i was thrown back to ground zero. i really don't think my idea's gonna work. the washing machine should probably shift to the other side of the bathroom entrance. then i was thinking about whether i could move the sink to the window side, rather than be situated under overhead cabinets as shown above. i've seen how awkward it was for my bro when he's at the basin. then i was also wondering if i should install those gigantic hoods over the stove. but the current stove is not located at the usual spot, so i'm not sure if it could be repositioned. 

i've been having real headaches this whole week. couldn't sleep last night so i got up and did some reading on kitchen flooring. a friend kept telling me to do up the flooring of the house first, then worry about the rest. yeah, that's one way. but i need to know what i don't want. and according to HGTV, i should invest in (kitchen) flooring.

i haven't even got started on the pattern of the kitchen flooring. i think i like the good ol' black and white square tile look. but i don't really want a black and white kitchen. yet somehow i'm very drawn to the idea of a black floor in the kitchen. i'm getting nowhere.

the shoes were the stars today. three colleagues commented on them; one loved them (we're both shoes people). wearing a top given by the guru. it's like a batwing top, with fins. i never imagined i'd wear something like that but thanks to her i learnt not to trust my own judgement so much anymore. haha. the jacket's also from her. i thought it's longer but i do like it even though it can look aunty-ish if not paired well. the pants were new from gmarket. they're like harem pants.

i had one of those motherofheadches last night. really hellish.

gotta run. another assignment due soon. so i may have to miss the public garden flea. i almost wanted to participate as a seller... wow, looks like i really should've done it. they did quite a bit of publicity, this one...

labour day's been a day w/o labour. which was great, except this fella's been relentless. i was greeted by this lovely sight above, and it saved the day.

i found this braun buffel bag at raffles city yesterday. i really liked it. i think the price included the long wallet attached to it. its surface is like this vintage charles jourdan. i loved that it's easy to wear and the colour's great. the squarish bags on the website also got my attention. if i didn't already have so many bags, i'd have gotten it in a jiffy.

i've been feeling giddy since monday. i initially thought there're tremors in the region. but the spells had persisted and i saw nor heard reports of major earthquakes in the neighbouring countries these past days so it's gotta be me.  i didn't think it's cos aunt florida's here. she usually came with the mother of headaches only. although the mother of headaches is not as powerful as this fella, she's still a real erm pain in the head. but i should thank her since i hit the sack earlier than usual. not after popping a panadol extra. i'm less reliant on painkillers these past years. i used to consume minimally two Synflex tablets as one dosage and i'd follow with at least a second dosage on the same day.

i realised i have forgotten about a number of dresses in my collection. i never really owned nor wore many until the past 5 or so years. i owe it to my style guru again, lol. i love the cut of this one above. i love longer dresses; they somehow are more feminie w/o being too girly. for girly dresses, i prefer them drop-waist rather than babydoll-cut. it's like if i must pretend to be cute, i'd prefer to be dorky-cute than princess-cute. never mind if you don't get me. lol.

i couldn't find the newer rendition of the Dizzy song on YouTube. does anyone know who did the later version? the version's more electronic or 'poppy' than the Vic Reeves' version.

the ironing board says hello. i've been getting headaches from the paint fumes. i had to rub medicated oil on my temples and my nose before i hit the sack.
