< i realised i have to take self-timer pictures if i wanna be sure my bags and shoes won't look too odd with the outfits when viewed from a certain distance. the mirror in the bedroom doesn't tell me the same thing. so i took pictures of me wearing the 2 bags. my guts told me it's the vintage patchwork that'd surely go. then i thought i should give a baal a chance to get out to play. it's still always the good 'ol cheap and functional and unique bag that won.

same 'batwing' sleeveless top. same bag. on a different day>

here's another same same but different for you.
and again my baals will take a back seat for these old bags. are you as lame as me?
another irony to love (or not). these are my very first purchases on Market Publique. when i saw that it goes by a bidding system, i thought oh well let's just enter my bids anyway. just for kicks. i'd usually lose out to others cos i'd sooner forget about it than watch my chances as a hawk would for its prey. as it turned out, i'd really forgotten about it. when i did recall, i think the auction just ended. i logged in at MP and clicked on everything except "I've won!" cos i thought i'd surely not stand a chance. lol.
and yay there's a huge ink stain in the CJ bucket bag that completely evaded my bird's eye view. see how thick i can be? oh and i haven't told you about my miscalculated Etsy buys. 'nuff said.

Congratulations on your newest vintage treasures.
Bidding can be so much fun!;)
Love your layered look with the white top and cropped grey jacket and your grey ballerinas have a touch of romantic!!
A little hug goes as always to my friend Teddy Toh!
oh buying at auction is such an adventure. i have bought a zillion things on ebay, and i have to admit that i probably have a 50% success rate. that isn't so hot. i've gotten a bit smarter with time (at least i like to think so), but sometimes i don't ask the right questions or double check measurements, and it ends up not working. grr. but it is pretty thrilling when it does work out!
I love your easy yellow skirt-such a sweet color!! perfect with your gray shoes!!
sorry about your Q, miso paste and olive oil, concertrated basamic vinigrette as you see the thick dark brown dressing in the pic.
xoxo
