it ain't over till it's over

the battle is over for now. i like this armour very much. the irony is that i might never have looked at the dress nor the long vest if they're sold in shops. the dress is like babydoll, given by a colleague who didn't look very good in it (i didn't say that but another colleague did; said it'd look like curtain.. i did find it a tad like sofa upholstery :P). i tamed down the dollishness of it with the long vest, which i got from a girl at a flea market. i don't know if she got it from a local blogshop - i assume most young girls of this generation shop at blogshops. i shun buying stuff from blogshops but i won't deny that i might fancy some of them if they're priced right, like at $2 a piece at a flea market. anyways, yea that's the snob in me being unreasonable just cos. i do have a few rather valid reasons but i shan't bore you already.

after fighting the battle, i went crazy with japanese food. it's my bro's birthday and i decided i'd give the family a treat. i treated myself to a sea urchin temaki that's twelve bucks a pop. i loved it. our dinner was almost like an avocado buffet. lol. me bro loves that stuff so bloody much, lah. i enjoyed the avocado dishes very much as well. his wife set the bar real high this birthday: she gave him three presents. lol.

i can read shallow magazines with teddy toh now. whee!

Great outfit... like the way you layered the long cardigan with the dress! Not a fan of thrift shopping, but that's just me being impatient...

You look stunning in your dress, I love the way you pair it with a long vest!!! And not forget to mention your eyecatching belt!

A little kiss and a little hug to ... Teddy Toh ...and you!
