ahh. this is it. it's really nice. her hairstyle, i mean. this would come under "short & wavy" on the Mademoiselle page. for once, she does look nice. no comment about everything else about the woman. i didn't even know about the existence of this term 'pob'. i only know i'd wanted a concave bob back then, before the trend caught on and which overstayed since then. when was that? anyways, what's memorable was what my stylist did to me: she chided me for not keeping to my previous wish to keep my hair long. yes, i was always itching for a new look. which basically meant chopping off the parts that have grown out. back to square one. go past jail and start over.

i was livid. imagine being ticked off for paying her to cut my hair. i was then in that place where i wondered if i'd ever matter in this world. like, i couldn't even get a haircut w/o being criticised. like i didn't deserve to be heard. and i actually teared.

draa-maa. yep, this was what happened. what happened to my hair? i can't remember that bit. i only remember feeling smug about the concave bob trend that followed. yes, lame duck i was then. btw, the version i'd wanted wasn't quite as dramatic as the 'pob'. oh wait - i think i ended up not getting the concave bob but a trim. i still go back to this stylist. i always do. she doesn't get it all the time but she sure beats those random and expensive flings i've had in between. how did she react to me that day? well i guess she got a shock. i don't expect her to treat me gentler after. i know she doesn't harbour any bad intentions. that's just how she is.
