my dear friend sent me this scripture on the last day of 2009. said it's her new year wish for me. i was very moved. this is how the Lord repeatedly comes down to talk to me via various means, even as i refuse to meet him in the many places where he can be found.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)
he said it not once but thrice. I will not leave or forsake you. you can't find a more faithful guy than Him, ladies.

i got the Diesel top at 80% discount on the last day of 2009. it's got all my colours: seafoam, grey, purple.
i 'rewarded' myself a few other things. thank goodness i didn't go crazy since it's been a while i shopped at the malls. i finally tried out some Toms. i gotta say i was really tempted to get them. they felt like nothing on. i also saw the Melissa pasta shoes. not quite what i'd expected. the texture's velvety. cute but they looked bulky.

about not blogging - i should've clarified that the most compelling reason didn't really have to do with the blogging community and its "standards". after all, i did start out with the sole intention of logging down my thoughts. i could attempt to justify further but i think i'd just end up being self-contradicting. perhaps i still don't know myself as well as i'd like to think i do ;)

I so understand your " i still don´t know myself ..." and what you called "standards". Sometimes there are these questions .. "Why am I writing about things, why am I posting this and that"... the posts are mostly about fashion and actually fashion is just a little part of my life... maybe important ;).. but nevertheless actually not something i´m talking about the whole day ;) ... and life is sometimes not so easy and in blogs everything is always cute, beautiful and gorgeous ... but nevertheless the second.. there are always wonderful people to meet
and sometimes to learn more about them behind the "blogopshere"... love, when I try to explain something ;)
Sooo.. back to fashion ;)
