The Gift of Being Yourself

it's probably hard for you to relate to the above if you haven't read what the author's covered in the earlier chapters. as the book title suggests, the content is about finding the true self. the false self masks the true self and is guided by what one has, what one can do and what others think of one. 

the post title was inspired by what i read in Brida. couldn't have depicted a truer situation for me since that fateful day. i really need to adjust my attitude else i'd be burnt out before long. my bro's already down since yesterday and it's only the 3rd work day of 2010. today a colleague said she seemed to be falling sick. i was to help her with some sh:t work but i've been taken off that to do the other sh:t work. it's really a battle of the mind first.
