intellectual property

The Bible presents wisdom as something public and available to everyone. It calls out to everyone - in the streets, on the heights, in public squares and at the city gates (Prov. 1:20-21; 8:1-3; 9:3). But wisdom is also something we must seek: we have to apply oursleves to it, long for it, and hold on to it. For it is not the only voice shouting for our attention. The call of folly is also public (Prov. 9:13-15). This means that, while people in every nation may find wisdom, they may also find folly.
