i'm still commiserating the loss of these navy "cowgirl boots" which were supposed to be mine for 9 american dollars only. the parcel never reached me. i was compensated a little over the actual cost, bless the seller. i felt so bad for her and was really sad i couldn't own the boots. i think she stopped shipping international following the incident. maybe she'd been facing similar issues. i wonder if the thief was ever caught. i've had my share of missing packages from various parts of the world but it's not a common occurrence, thank goodness. the local postal company's trustworthy too. 

 

i've since then been looking for a replacement. i want them navy and not too obviously western, just like these. i love that they're not girly but handsome. and i don't want to have to pay too much for a pair. tall order? now do you feel my pain?

i'm also weak for tan shoes. the fringed westerns are decidedly girly and attention-grabbing (read: not me). well, i did qualify that my mind was temporarily impaired. the bloody shoes sure got my attention. i might wear them in Tokyo if they arrive in time :P
