i'm suddenly down. just as i've forgotten about whether my giddyness had been cured (+ve outcome from retail therapy? lol), i was suddenly immobile this morning. woke up in the middle of the night not a few times with the nose dripping like a spoilt tap.
i'm feeling better already. i guess the resolve to turn my lifestyle around must really be heeded already. what an irony that i went to bed early last nite.
i blew seventy over bucks on the grey slides. they're not my usual style. they're oh so comfy. the fabric's a lil irridescent. there're loud sequined gold and silver ones. i almost wanted the gold ones because of the taupe soles. tacky. wonder when i'd get to wear them again since they're casual. i'm still mostly a covered-shoes person even on casual days. the soles were already dirty from the trip to the doc's. i got a similar pair of slides from Shanghai and would've loved to show them now. they're bright orange; kinda tacky if you will but that's why i bought them, lol. [yea, you guess it correctly: i couldn't find them.] and i 'discovered' a pair of new nude heeled slides while i was rummaging around in my pig pen. gosh. i must've bought them since several weeks back. what about this pair? i have not worn them. i knew i should've bought the taupe ones instead of the purple. i need intervention.

retail therapy can be so fun! and finding forgotten and unworn shoes is a DREAM! love when that happens, even tho it makes me feel guilty.
I bought a pair of Dr. Scholls a few years back when they were all the rage and first came out with the heeled versions. Unfortunately I don't really wear them anymore. The iridiscent hue on yours is wonderful.. I'd think you'd have enough chance to wear these in your warm climate? I think what annoyed me the most about my pair was the clacking noise it made. Flat slip-ons make noise as well, but the heeled ones I had were obnoxiously loud to me...
