maybe these ladies are used to the temperament of the weather in a temperate countries. are the clothes and shoes enuf when the weather feels like one degree celsius? i can't remember how cold it was when i first experienced cold weather while i was flying with SQ. i used to be able to withstand cold (at one point i was pudgy; not sure if that'd contributed to the threshold, or whether i was naturally more resilient back then). now - as in for a really long time now - i can't stand the cold whereas i can tolerate heat much better. 

what're your must-have winterwear items when it feels like one degree celsius? and do you heed the forecasted precipitation much? how much is considered high precipitation? how about skincare? is the water in Tokyo hard? i'd be very grateful for any inputs, please.
