happy 2nd month old, beloved niece of mine!
in my self-absorption, i almost forgot about it. i'm terribly bad with remembering birthdays and anniversaries. i hope i won't fail this dearie. i've been tasked to be her english teacher. her father is bilingual (so are most of us in this country, LKY would've loved to tell you...) but the standard of my mandarin's gone down the drain, so that's why she's going to be my charge in the english language department. i hope i won't fail this dearie.
