i should've followed this girl as she switched queue. she was on the bus on our way to JB customs and i found myself behind her. yes, it's the shoes i recognised first. the line next to me was moving faster. and the guy's cute..:P ok lah, the indian guy attending to my queue's cute too but he looked moody.
i took 3 hours to get into johor. gosh. this is why i haven't been going there for a long time.
it was still nice and rather quiet when we reached Jusco, before noon. it's the furthest 语馨 had gone out of singapore. lol. i don't recall having been there. it reminded me of our VivoCity.
^hello, Yu Syn!^
^crossing river trolley^
i didn't haul much back. was really just hanging out with my favourite people. we were more often checking out stuff for the baby, of course. my bro and SIL did get something for themselves; they usually did their shopping in Malaysia, when they're on holiday. things are so much cheaper there anyway.
^did i buy the shoes? guess?^
my SIL got a pair of yellow sandals. she's frugal. she would've gotten another pair but not unless the shoes she's asked me to help her sell are sold. amazing discipline. there're 2 more pairs i have yet to upload on my store. i wonder if she realises how hard it is to sell used shoes, lol.
^fashionista in the making. lol. she seemed to have a thing for ribbons -- an universal girlie tendency :)
i bought a tee from Elle Sports in the end while they changed diapers for the little one (she's too cute. she'd cry if she didn't get her beauty sleep but she won't fret if she's soaked in her dump for a few hours). we saw a couple of interesting shops. i suddenly wish i'd bought this other tee we saw when we first arrived. it's a wee bit more expensive than the Elle tee.
i saw some branded clothes at this shop; CdG and D&G, etc. not sure if they're authentic. i'd have stolen more shots if the salesgirls were busy. they have shoes with stuffed bears sewn into the sides. lots of DIY ideas from here.
^lol^
our last stop was the book store.
the trip back was a breeze. that's the plus about driving in. no human jam.
i suspect she might pass up her last feed (or maybe the last two feeds) of the day for her forty winks. there were moments when i wondered if her mother was a little too anxious and spoiling the baby... but what do i know, right? the world tells you words won't bring you down, and then you're suddenly told the opposite is the fact. like, 40 years later. i was even feeling bad if this outing was done for my sake... since i'm a singleton with not many friends and not much else happening in my life... dammit. i just have to end on such a note. typical.
THANK YOU, 天使们!
