pseudo

meet my 'inspired' navy kelly. doesn't it look like... peekaboo? lol.
it wears comfy on the shoulders as well.

and meet my 'new' blogshop dress. i didn't buy it but the guru did. i've yet to do a real purchase from a blogshop. i must confess i was a little tempted.. i quite liked what i saw on love and bravery although i believe the sizing may be off.

i bought the shoes for cheap at the flea (not exactly that cheap, come to think of it...) and two of them didn't last more than one wear. i wore the gold ones to work, it's their 2nd outing. i thought they could pull thru today but the lobang on the left grew bigger.

have you heard of bandage shoes? my colleagues said they looked like plasters. these plasters cost me close to 30 bucks. sickening.

anyway, my lunchtime gallivanting was rather fruitful. i saw not a few interesting outfits. who would've thought glimpses of brilliance could be witnessed in this place. i think i saw a retrosexual today. and he's quite a head turner :P i dunno if he saw me smile secretly. i saw him turn his head in my direction (maybe he's double-taking on my choice of shoes). it's not his looks but what he wore. it's nothing too unusual: geek glasses, trumpet trousers (not exactly bell bottoms - the flare starts higher) and grandpa shoes. the local sartorialist also missed a few other priceless shots: an aunty decked in vintage gear just the way i remember it. a young lady in an elegant dress, likely an oldie, with a lovely thin belt.

what do they call a female retrosexual, btw?

I like the sobriety of the gown. It can give a good basis for many kinds of outfit accessories' frenzies. Thank you for your b-day wishes! Are you 'also' an August baby?
