creatures of comfort

the paper bag pants have arrived. i've tried them on. i'm not sure if the material's a bit gatal; it looks like linen. but they feel rather comfy as it's slightly stretchy. i'm actually very tickled. i don't know why it'd escaped me when i bought the pants. i wasn't looking for real paperbag pants, i suppose. can you see what i see? lol.

the cluster boss has set the expectations for what to expect next week following the migration. it's nothing new that hasn't been already said. it'll be interesting to see how things will turn out since the word's out now. so far, perhaps what we can expect is the sighting of more early birds in the office? :P

two of my colleagues have resigned. i lunched with one of them today. i liked the "thai rice set". there's sago in gula melaka! the soup's weird to me but Tricia said it's not bad. it tasted like warm 酸梅水 but Tricia said she could taste a bit of tom yam in it. i wonder if there was a mistake. my soup didn't look the same, now that i recall. haha. but i would eat here again.    

the shoes got alot of attention from a colleague. haha. they're by gojane from sometime back. i got the vintage top from GDO during the recent sale. the elastic bands of the sleeves were already quite loose. i bought them anyway since it's priced half.
