uniform

 whowhatwear
this is an 'afterpost'. the above picture didn't show up suddenly. i'll also say what i'd intended to say when i posted it up last night.

imo this is an ideal look (and hence the post title). i couldn't really pinpoint what was it that made it a winning look. each time i tried, i could only pin it down to the colours. you could change the silhouette of the getup any which way you fancy and i believe it'd still work nicely, at least as far as the colours are concerned. the other thing that could be interchanged (still on colours), is the pop of colour. apart from kelly green, there's red. and vermillion. and yellow. and electric blue. keep the rest of the colours close to white or cream and black or grey. and nothing too busy on the clothes: stripes are the busiest possible. or perhaps little dots... but i think stripes are still the best bet. if you think about it, this is really why some looks are classified as classics. you could experiment all you want, but nothing's gonna beat the winning ones (and hence the post title). look at the posts which are titled with a prefix "uniform" to know what i'm trying to say.

anyway, re my quest to 'cementing' my style through my hair and clothes, i'm now considering if i'd continue wearing vintage. i think it's the dresses that i need to be careful with.
