a few days back, a colleague commented that i looked nice (i think she also said "more professional") in a simple grey shift dress. i think she asked me why i wore it (it must be really obvious i seldom dressed professional?). i said it's only cos i couldn't think of what to wear. then i think she said there should be more such occasions. so it must also be obvious that the clean look suits me better, or it's more so if it's just about dressing for work? this should be the second time i received similar comments.

i guess that's the feedback i've been hoping to receive. i gotta admit that i didn't take it too well. i mean, to me, it's easy to do glam, no? except it's next to impossible for me if i must wear skyscraper heels. the other day when i was gmarketing, i saw this caption that said women all over the world dress alike (something like that). the horror. you know what i mean.  
   

 here's to looking like everyone else! might as well join the club, right. lol.
