i imagine i'd be sleeping in both the living room or bedroom of the nest, not unlike the current practice. what i'd like is the ability to turn off the lights the same way you switch off the TV with a remote control, or at least the switches should be within easy reach so i can crash right away.

me too! I've always dreamed of owning a universal control that controls everything... lights, the fan, drawing the curtains lol! I saw it once on an episode of The Osbournes, they really have such a thing, it's amazing.
or even lights that respond to the clapping of hands or something along those lines... that would be so nice >.<
