^wiw on the last day of twenty ten

this proves yet again that wearing the right shoes is important. the heels are wrong here. once again, i'm reminded of this blogger concerning her personal style. i gotta say we're quite alike in being anal about certain wardrobe items. her preferred choice of shoes would've gone with my outfit today. incidentally, i'm forever still hunting down that elusive pair of ankle boots, with or w/o the small heel. 

i ate my last lunch of the year with a colleague who's not yet been initiated into the club for eating at this place that nobody who works in the area wouldn't know about. she's been with us for more than a year. now long before i joined this current organisation, i'd already patronised it. i was working at the hotel opposite more than 10 years ago(!) then i switched industry and ended up in the area again.  

my colleague told me to ask her again what's memorable (forgot if it's exactly this term) for this year. earlier, we were at the office christmas party and the question to ponder was what we're grateful for. her answer: bonus. lol. she said she's finally been initiated into the club so it's a memorable thing for her this last day of the year. lol.

and i clean forgot about the yearly 'countdown' event the church organised. i'm honestly still not super well anyway. my sil offered to pick me up and send me to church but i declined.  she then suggested that  that i spend this last hour reading His word and praying. i know i should... but there's no such desire... i've been reading some of last year's postings and i wasn't surprised that some things have remained status quo. not good.  

don't let me dampen your moods now. i wish y'all a fruitful 2011. thanks for dropping in on this space during this past year :)
