celebrated an old friend's birthday with some other mutual friends. i knew her the longest time (about 30 years) while one knew her for about 10 years. we're all women, all singles, all afflicted with 老花眼. things were looking really familiar. yet i couldn't imagine how my life would've panned out otherwise.
