colour blind

yeah, green's been my colour these days. i thought that the chanel nail colour is more like vert d'eau... unless the jade has a translucent quality like this fridge here. looks like a giant slab of precious stone.

i recall i once owned a bag in this shade. it was so hard to wear. but i think i'd know how better to match it now. sometimes i wish i was less anal about colour matching. i'm better now, actually. but i still cannot stand to wear black with brown. i don't think i have compromised on this principle yet. i cannot tolerate it on others either, whether they're cool enuf or not for the sartorialist or garance dore or and the likes. i'm sorry if you love this combo. i hope you don't take offence.

but you know what? i just talk too much and most times too soon. can one get more boring than this? lol. i think many would throw in tan or brown bag or shoes for "accent" and they'd receive more compliments than i can ever hope for. seriously, if i can only wear a brown bag or brown shoes with these outfits, i won't go out at all. i'll self-impose a house arrest. i wonder what bilson wore for her bag and shoes in that black outfit with that jade necklace. no prizes for guessing what i'll wear.

left: bag could be a fake miu miu. i didn't know until after the bag's bought and i saw the tag.

right: braided belt is vintage ferragamo for one or two bucks and bag is vintage bonia.

shoes in both outfits were from shanghai at six bucks. i can't bear to buang them. too comfy.
