which did i settle for?

received a "huge compliment" today. heh. an indian colleague said every time she saw me, i'd remind her of the heroines in the korean dramas she's hooked on. i didn't get it right away. lol. i think it's because i'm probably the minority in this country who's not sucked into the K-pop culture. 

been thinking if i should make a short getaway next month. the thought didn't come until i found out that school won't start till mar. my last break was in may 08. and my milan trip was postponed. i know school will drive me nuts this sem. although i chose to do two modules only, the schedule of each module wasn't spaced out enuf but crammed into mar and apr.

i was once again wondering if i should do an east coast american city. NY kept coming up as i haven't been there. i read of the chictopia event. but it's just coincidence. because the lunar new year falls on valentine's, i can take advantage of the long weekend and save on my annual leave which i ration for school. i'd like to try travelling alone but i'm honestly very chicken sh:t about it. when i say travel alone, i mean going to a place outside malaysia. and not with a tour group.

i'm not even planning yet. i hate being like this. just all talk and no action. maybe in the end i'd get to go to milan in the summer. one sure thing that can happen out of this dilemma or indecision is that i get to save my money if i don't make the trip.
