this outfit reminds me very much of what i used to wear during my teenaged years. how i missed the cuffed culottes of that time; i'd wear the culottes or shorts with a top like this and my fave footwear would be diadora sandals.
the high-waist jeans with part-rubberised waist and carrot legs are in my possession thanks again to the style guru. do you know how much they cost? you won't believe it. i didn't wear them with the ends rolled up too much. they're meant to fall around the ankles, not above. i folded the hems once cos they're kinda crumpled and i was too lazy to press them.
the top's from my recent JB trip. i really like it. i'm now lusting for the tops i saw at GDO's. i checked out the shop after seeing the clip in their latest blog entry. Hsiao Ying always looked so yummy. the tops reminded so much of the fashion of my time. i think my ma wore some of my clothes then! must be i didn't like them then (which is so weird, cos how i love them now, lol) and so she took over.

i couldn't bare to get them. i was really close to buying a few, though. i almost bought a gold buckle that's meant for belting. i wasn't too sure i could make it work with scarves so i passed it up. there were also some terry cloth rompers. oh, the nostalgia. i shall wait for the sale season... i was wondering how much i could make if i sold some of my vintage dresses at those prices. i wouldn't sell if i could wear them. they're definitely in excellent condition and worth much more than fifty bucks.

Those pleated pants look fantastic with that top!
It's a cute look, and I LOVE the top!
cool belt!
ahhh, i recognise the belt!
I just love you in this! I've also been thinking about getting a high waist, puffy-top-slim-bottom pants... There was a time, between teen spirit and now, when I swore I'd never ever do that again!
