^what shoes would you wear with this ensemble?

i paid quite a bit for this epaulet blouse. i also paid alot for these shoes, i realised as i was browsing for more western boots on etsy recently. but i'm really glad i got this vintage blouse. not so much for the 'decoration' on the sleeves but cos it fits nicely; it's probably one of the very few tops with long sleeves that don't overwhelm me and make look wayang. i'd wanted to wear another pale blue cap-sleeved top with this skirt. but i think the long sleeves of this top and the silhouette of the skirt just worked out fine in the end. 

i received not a few similar comments for this getup. felt self-conscious cos it's so not my intention - to look "sexy". i'm not complaining, lol.

the display of colours for the 2nd day running seemed appropriate in achieving the same decoy of the day before. i've had the premonition for a while now. and true enough. i'd made yet another boo-boo during the recent move. i'm beyond livid at my carelessness. i know the colleague who came upon my oversight. she's one of the few people with whom i feel comfortable. surprisingly, the woman who'd caused me some pain in the chest or heart area not too long ago readily helped me out instead of embarrassing me further when she was nearby. i don't wanna imagine if she'd turn on me another time.       

  i usually seldom wear black shoes if the colours of my clothes are pale. but i always speak too soon and have to break my own rules. i could've worn my orange shoes, my purple shoes, my grey shoes, my green shoes. oh and my yellow shoes. lol. but i was set on the black shoes almost immediately. i hope it's not a bad choice. i'd choose the black ones again if i were to rethink. or perhaps the fuschia ones...?
